This project was my sophomore year final thesis at high school in 2020, in which I conceptualized and designed a fictional cosmetics line of over nine digitally illustrated beauty products, each addressing a distinct social issue — including gun reform, sexual assault, COVID-19, police brutality, and animal rights. Inspired by CHANEL, the line draws a deliberate parallel between the way society glamorizes and normalizes these issues and the way makeup conceals and transforms. Ingredients were satirically labeled as "ignorance," "pain," and "suffering," underscoring the forces that allow these issues to persist.
