Created for my sophomore year Data Visualization class, this project presents an interactive, scrolling narrative exploring poverty in New York City. Designed to confront viewers — particularly those of privilege — with the realities of economic hardship, the piece translates complex financial and demographic data into visually clear, digestible formats. The goal was to make the data not only accessible, but impossible to ignore.
