This yearbook cover was designed for my school's 2020–2021 academic year, themed Adapt and Overcome. Departing from the school's traditional green and silver, I introduced a palette of oranges and blues — warm tones representing unity and comfort, cool tones representing isolation and fear. The front cover depicts two classroom settings side by side, contrasting in-person and remote learning, with scattered circular motifs symbolizing social distancing bubbles and emotional detachment. The back cover is composed as a grid of Zoom panels, each capturing a distinct pandemic experience — from Zoom fatigue and pet interruptions to diversity, creative freedom, and the longing for escape. Together, the design tells the story of a school year unlike any other.
